  11.  WOULD YOU FIRE ON U.S. CITIZENS?

  13.  PREFACE:
  14.  The following questionnaire was administered to Marines at the Twenty-nine 
  15. Palms, California Marine base on May 10,1994. Most of those responding to the 
  16. survey had participated in either Operation Just Cause (Panama), Desert Storm 
  17. (Iraq), or Restore Hope (Somalia). The Navy Commander handing out the survey 
  18. said he was writing a paper for  his Master's Degree about giving up the 
  19. military's sovereignty to the United Nation's Secretary-General....but, 
  20. information from military sources said that it not just a paper, informed
  21.  sources told us it is designed and directed by the Pentagon.

  25.  COMBAT ARMS SURVEY

  27.  This questionnaire is to gather data concerning the attitudes of combat 
  28. trained personnel with regards to non-traditional missions. All of your  
  29. responses are confidential. Write your answers directly on the questionnaire 
  30. form. In Part II, place an "X" in the space provided for your response.

  105. commander.
  106.  39. I feel the President of the United States has the authority to pass his 
  107. responsibilities as Commander-in-Chief to the U.N. Secretary General.
  108.  40. I feel there is no conflict between my oath of office and serving as a 
  109. U.N. soldier.
  110.  41. I feel my unit's combat effectiveness would not be affected by 
  111. performing humanitarian missions for the United Nations.
  112.  42. I feel a designated unit of U.S. combat soldiers should be permanently 
  113. assigned to the command and control of the United Nations.
  114.  43. I would be willing to volunteer for assignment to a U.S. combat unit 
  115. under a U.N. commander.
  116.  44. I would like U.N. member countries, including the U.S., to give the U.N. 
  117. All the soldiers necessary to maintain world peace.
  118.  45. I would swear to the following code: "I am a United Nations fighting 
  119. person. I serve in the forces which maintain world peace and every nation's 
  120. way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense."
  121.    
  122.  46. The U.S. government declares a ban on the possession, sale, 
  123. transportation, and transfer of all non-sporting firearms. A thirty (30) day 
  124. amnesty period is permitted for these firearms to be turned over to the local 
  125. authorities.At the end of this period, a number of citizen groups refuse to 
  126. turn over these firearms.  Consider the following statement: I would fire 
  127. upon U.S. citizens who refuse or resist confiscation of firearms banned by 
  128. the U.S. government.
